I got this book for Christmas from my grandma Payne. It is a good book. In it, there is a Crown Princess who gets sent away to be married to the prince of a far away land. While she is traveling, part of her acompanyment betrayes her, and everybody else is killed, except for her
and one other person. After she escapes, she wanders through the forest for a while, until she meets some friendly forest dwellers. Finally, she disides to go to the city and get a job. She gets a job as the king's goose girl. In this book Ani has extrodenary adventures. I loved it.
