This book was really good. It was about a boy who is black, and is an orphan living in the time of the great depression. He gets sent to live with some foster parents that are really mean and nasty to him. He ends up running away to try and find his father. His mother only left him one clue, a flyer that says a name of a band , " Herman E. Calloway and the Dirty Devistaors of the Depression. It was a very good book.

3. Bud, Not Buddy
