7. Chasing Vermeer

This was a really good book. It was about a girl named Petra and a boy named Calder. They are in sixth grade and have a very imanginative and enthusiastic teacher. They start studying art, and visit a musuem where there are some Vermeer paintings. Shortly after thier visit, a Vermeer painting is stolen. Petra and Calder don't think that it is a coincidence when thier teacher starts acting wierd on the same day. They start investegating, but this theft is more than it seems to be. It was a really good book, and I loved it!
