Our Only May Amelia is about the only girl in a Finnish-American family, and she has seven brothers. It's set in 1899 in Washington. She resents being expected to act like a lady, when she just wants to be able to act like her brothers. She's a bit of a trouble maker, but she's also a loveable character. This was a really good book.
