This book is about what happens when a magician tries to make some lilies appear. Instead of lilies appearing in his hand, an elephant comes crashing through the roof. The elephant falls on the lap on a lady sitting in the front row, breaking her legs. A few blocks away, a little boy wishes something would happen that would help him find his sister. The elephant is very unhappy and wants to go home. When a lady buys the elephant and puts her on display for everyone to see, the boy goes to see him. After that he eventually finds his sister with the help of some of his friends. It was a very good book.
